Mayflower Descendant Legacy

CD-ROM contains 43 volumes (over 513 megabytes) of original pilgrim records literally transcribed and edited by George Ernest Bowman (1862-1941) who founded the Massachusetts Society of Mayflower Descendants in 1896.  Mr. Bowman was inducted into the National Genealogy Hall of Fame in 1996 in recognition of his unique and outstanding contributions to early American research, and his publication and preservation of literal copies of priceless ancient pilgrim records. 

CD Contents:

The Mayflower Descendant Magazine (1899-1937, about 8,000 pages.  Publication ceased in 1937 and the magazine was not revived for 50 years) -- 34 volumes.  The Mayflower Descendant Magazine published hundreds of town vital records, cemetery records, wills and probates, diaries, research notes and more (see below).

Pilgrim Notes & Queries (1913-1917, about 2,000 pages.  Publication ceased in 1917) -- 5 volumes

Vital Records of Brewster to 1850 (Barnstable Co., MA, 1904, 255 pages)

V.R. of Halifax to 1850 (Middleborough Co., MA, 1906, 47 pages) -- 1 volume; V.R. of Truro to 1850 (Barnstable Co., MA, 1933, 420 pages) -- 1 volume.
